Salt Lake Release Contacts

This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the agency that created the record.

County Jail and Sheriff Records

For a Metro or Oxbow custody event, start with the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office. The jail information line operates at all hours, but the Corrections Bureau says staff do not disclose a prisoner's release date. Use the online Jail In/Out Docket for recent movement and a written GRAMA request for an exact release time, authority, or receiving agency.
